Custom app, MVP, or prototype

Let’s build your idea.

Share the problem you want to solve, the people you want to help, and the result you want your app to create. We will use this to prepare a focused scope conversation.

About You

Step 1 of 4

Start with the person and business behind the idea. This helps us prepare for the right kind of conversation.

Fields marked * will be required when the live connection is added.

Tell Us About Your App Idea

Step 2 of 4

Start in your own words. Then use the guided prompt below if you would like ChatGPT or Claude to help organize the details.

A high-level summary is enough. You do not need to know technical terms.

The app idea prompt

You are helping me turn a rough app idea into a clear MVP or prototype brief. Answer every question below in 2 to 3 sentences. Be specific and honest. If I do not know an answer, say “not sure yet” and suggest an assumption I should explore. Do not write code.

1. Give the app a simple working name and one-sentence purpose.
2. Who will use it? Include the type of person, role, or age group if relevant.
3. What frustrating problem does it solve for them?
4. What is the single most important thing a person should be able to do in the app?
5. Describe what a first-time user should see and do.
6. What information, choices, or content would a user need to provide?
7. Are there other roles, such as an owner, admin, staff member, parent, customer, or partner? What does each need to do?
8. What should happen after the user completes the main action?
9. Does the idea need accounts, appointment booking, payments, messages, location, reminders, or a way to share something?
10. What should this first version not do yet? Name anything that can wait until later.
11. What should the experience feel like? For example: playful, kid-friendly, polished, professional, bold, calm, simple, premium, or creative.
12. How will you know this MVP helped? What should become easier, faster, clearer, or more valuable?

You can also write this yourself. More context gives us a better starting point.

The Outcome & Direction

Step 3 of 4

Help us understand what the app should make easier and what kind of experience will feel right for the people using it.

No photos are needed for this first brief. Brand colors, a logo later, or a description of the vibe you want are enough to start the conversation.

Your Scope Call

Step 4 of 4

Tell us how to reach you and when a conversation would be easiest. The live version will notify Wishing Lion right away and guide you to the next scheduling step.

This is still a design preview. The request button below does not send data or book an appointment until we connect the form to your chosen system.

This design preview is not connected yet, so nothing was submitted. Once connected, this button can add the brief to your intake sheet, send an immediate notification, and direct the client to scheduling.
